Pick a company size, or enter how many employees spend on company cards and how many people work in finance and accounting. The calculator turns your own assumptions into hours and dollars saved each month, minus the cost of a Barespend plan. It uses time only, and every assumption can be changed.

Estimate based on the numbers you entered. Savings come from time only. Setup time, other costs and any change in how much your team spends are not included. Active members are assumed to equal the employees who spend on company cards.
The company-size buttons only fill in example numbers. They are not averages or benchmarks, and Barespend has not measured these savings for you. Open Advanced assumptions and replace the starting values with your own, ideally from a recent month.
Two kinds of time are counted: the time employees spend sending and explaining receipts, and the time finance spends chasing, matching, coding and reconciling them. Barespend does not issue cards, so there is no cashback or card-rewards line.
The share link puts your inputs in the web address so you can send the same result to a colleague. Nothing is sent to Barespend.
They are round example figures so the page shows a result. They are not industry averages or measurements of Barespend customers. Replace them with your own.
How is the Barespend cost calculated?
Employees who spend, multiplied by the per-member monthly price of the plan you pick on an annual plan. Only people who send a receipt or have a card transaction in a month are billed, so this is an upper estimate.
What does each company-size button do?
It fills in the number of employees who spend, the number of finance staff and a plan: Essentials for the startup example, Pro for mid-market and Advanced for enterprise. You can change any of them.
What if the result shows a loss?
Then, on your numbers, the plan costs more than the time it saves. The calculator shows the result either way, and you can test more cautious or more generous assumptions.
Does it include setup time or other costs?
No. It compares time saved with the plan subscription only.
